While stars are commonly associated with winter holidays, done in the right colors and fabrics they are also wonderful for special occasions, accomplishments and days like the 4th of July and Memorial Day. With this pattern you can make stars of your choosing all year long!  This pattern features an assortment of fun stars that will brighten anyone’s day!  They can be made in both wool/wool felts OR woven cottons. Directions are given for both.  How about a lovely star featuring that special button that was in your mother’s button box?  They are a great way to use your fabric scraps as well as that stash of embellishments – threads, fabrics, trims, sequins, ribbons, buttons, beads and so much more.  These stars are about 4-5″ in diameter and can be used as stand alones, bowl fillers, ornaments, hanging banners, place markers or gift tags….use your imagination!  There are 8 different patterns included with many more possible if you mix and match parts. The pattern features actual sized templates, directions/illustrations for all designs.
